What to expect
From your first contact with our clinic, we aim to make your experience clear, calm, and supportive. When you book an appointment, our friendly team will guide you through what you need to know, including any paperwork or preparation.
At your consultation, Dr Yasmin Tan will take the time to listen to your concerns, explain things in plain language, and involve you in every decision about your care. If further tests or procedures are needed, she'll clearly outline your options and next steps.
We understand that every woman's health journey is personal and that medical experiences can sometimes feel overwhelming.

First visit guide
At your first appointment, Dr Tan will review your referral, listen to your concerns, and ask about your medical history. If needed, a gentle examination or ultrasound may be performed during your visit, with Dr Tan explaining each step and ensuring you're comfortable throughout the process.
You're welcome to bring a support person if that helps you feel more at ease. Our trauma-informed care approach means we prioritise your comfort, dignity and choice at every stage of your appointment.
Our aim is to provide clear answers, respectful care and a supportive experience from the moment you arrive.
Don’t forget to bring any previous test results, imaging, or lab work related to your condition. This will help us maximise your appointment time and ensure we have all necessary information for accurate assessment and planning.
Insurance and payment
Dr Yasmin Tan is a private specialist and fees apply for consultations, procedures and ultrasounds. Full payment is required on the day of your appointment.
We do not directly bill private health insurance for outpatient services, but your insurance may cover some procedures performed in hospital. Please check with your provider about your level of cover.

Treatment
Throughout your treatment or procedure with Dr Yasmin Tan, our team will ensure you have clear instructions. You’ll receive written information tailored to your needs, including recovery and follow-up care.
